Teach Grant’s acting filmography is rich with grit and nuance and realism and includes Van Helsing, Altered Carbon, Damnation, The Romeo Section, the severely-underrated-and-cancelled-way-before-its-time Strange Empire, The 100, Rush, and Ana Valine’s atmospheric and creepy Once There Was A Winter, which reunited him with Romeo Section co-star and friend of the podcast Juan Riedinger. Recently, Teach played psychopathic bully Henry Bowers in It Chapter Two. The film is set 27 years after the events of 2017’s It (both are based on the 1986 novel by Stephen King) and has grossed more than $473 million USD since its premiere in August 2019. In this contemplative interview, Teach reflects on his journey from working-class Toronto kid to Vancouver-based working actor. And he speaks at length about roles: the roles he revels in, the roles he craves, and the ones that he just won’t do anymore.
